As we prepare for 2020, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what an amazing year 2019 has been. It was a huge year for Aliant, the fintech/payments industry, and cryptocurrency, and we couldn’t be more excited to keep the momentum going.  Here are some of the highlights of 2019:

Q1

Aliant celebrated 16 successful years of business in the payment processing industry!

We proudly announced that we had added Bob Moore Auto Group to our expanding roster of merchants accepting cryptocurrency payments.

Q2

We proudly announced that we had added the Miami Dolphins to our expanding roster of merchants accepting cryptocurrency payments.

The Litecoin Foundation appointed Aliant CEO Eric Brown as an official Advisory Board Member.

Q3

The crypto payment option went live on the Miami Dolphins 50/50 raffle site, allowing people to participate from anywhere and pay with Litecoin.

We began offering free cryptocurrency processing to any merchant that signs up for an account.

Within six months of adding Bob Moore Auto Group to our roster of merchants accepting cryptocurrency payments, the first car was purchased in Bitcoin.

Q4

Our CEO, Eric Brown attended the second annual Litecoin Summit to was there to speak about what we’ve been working on in the last year, as well as the future of crypto payments as a Day One speaker. Eric shared details about how CryptoBucks works and how we’re incorporating it into traditional payments through our Titan platform, and provided an update on our partnership with the Miami Dolphins, and the results we’ve seen so far. We announced that we will be paying each of our employees part of their compensation package in cryptocurrency, a combination of Bitcoin and Litecoin.

In addition to these milestones, Aliant also was mentioned in 75+ digital publications including Forbes, CoinTelegraph, TechCrunch, and Thrive Global, to name a few.
